Description

Double ferrule fittings are available for tubing sizes 1/16 to 2 in. and 2 to 50 mm. Easy to disassemble and retighten. No torque is transferred to the tubing during installation. Dual ferrule fittings separate the sealing function from the tube gripping function, with each ferrule optimized for its respective function. The front ferrule is used to create a seal: a seal to the fitting body and a seal to the outside diameter of the tubing. When the nut is turned, the back ferrule pushes the front ferrule in the axial direction to apply an effective tube grip in the radial direction.
